Just a very quick update today. I am about to hit a milestone!
When I weighed in this morning, my weight was 250.6 lb. I have not been below 250 since sometime in the mid-1970s. It feels amazing.
I expect that tomorrow or the next day, I will leave the 250s behind, and get into the 240s. I am so happy to be saying that.
I lost a lot of weight in mid-March through mid-April. From the second half of April, through May and into June, I was really stalled out on weight loss, holding steady, or yo-yoing a bit. Maybe up 2 pounds, then down 3 and so on. It is frustrating when you are not eating and not losing weight. Thing is, all along I could feel my body losing fat. I mean, I could feel bones that I had never felt before. I felt that my belly was more “squishy” instead of solid, meaning to me that fat was going away. The pounds were not decreasing, but my body was getting leaner.
Starting around the 2nd week of June and continuing now, I have been dropping pounds pretty rapidly again, and I am sure glad to see that. I think I have a fasting/feasting schedule in place now that will keep the weight loss flowing. Previously, between fasts, I started doing a one meal per day regimen and I believe that is what stalled me out. Now, I am constantly changing things, and hopefully, that will keep the weight loss flowing!
