My Day 4 results are in for the Beef, Pork, & Butter Experiment.
To recap so far:
Day 1: 1 lb gain
Day 2: 1 lb loss
Day 3: 0.8 lb loss
Day 4 Results
For Day 4, I came away with a 1.2 lb loss.
So, my total loss for the first 4 days is 2 lb in 4 days.
I do feel pretty strongly that the Day 1 gain of 1 lb was just water weight because I was coming off of 4 days of fasting. I always gain on day 1 of eating after an extended fast, and usually a lot more than 1 pound!
So, I feel the loss so far is pretty good.
Tomorrow, I will feature the results of Day 5, which is the final day of the experiment. I will have a follow-up and wrap up post for Day 6, a non-experiment day. On Day 6 I will share with you my overall thoughts about the experiment, some of what I share will probably surprise you.
